AI TOOLS 2024.

After making the transition to the hardware industry, Midjourney last Friday introduced personalization for Niji (anime) models. This new initiative follows their big move from a discord server to a website with free trials, which saw a sharp decline in user engagement on the network. Additionally, it recently revealed enhanced and new features for the Midjourney 6.1 version.

As mentioned in Midjourney’s X post, users must go to the ‘Tasks’ section of the website in order to activate this feature. They can then choose the ‘Rank Niji’ option from there. After ranking about 200 images, which usually takes five minutes or so, users can add ‘–p’ to their prompts to enable personalization.

Look it over

The Niji feature is exciting for existing users who have already grown accustomed to the platform’s capabilities. By training the model on their own unique tastes, users can generate even more personalised and satisfying results.

The Outcome

Many users have already taken to the internet and shared their personalised artworks on the platform, showing positive feedback and appreciation for the feature.

tabi_yume’ a user of the platform, has used the new update to compare the results generated by the same prompt on Flux and Midjourney and has expressed his satisfaction on the results created by Midjourney.

Midjourney has also conducted personality surveys to gain insights into the connection between personality traits and aesthetic preferences. Although there might not be a direct link to Niji’s personalisation feature, it’s clear the company is striving to create highly customized products that cater to individual tastes.

As Niji continues to evolve, the company remains committed to providing its users with innovative tools and features that empower them to create exceptional AI art.
