A melody resulting from quantum calculations? It is now a sound reality. The electro artist Ilā has just unveiled an unprecedented song, designed from IA and quantum computer.

This title, baptized “REVUE”redefines musical creation by mixing still rare technologies in the artistic field.

The project was carried out in collaboration with British startup Mothspecialized in creative generation tools. Together, they used The Archaeo software platformdeveloped by Moth and deployed on A quantum computer signed IQM.

Unlike the usual generative AI, often criticized to rely on databases including works by other artists, this AI was led only from content provided by Ilā. A way of avoiding any accusation of plagiarism and Respect the integrity of original works.

An accompanying AI, without copying or guessing

Rather than producing a complete song independently, quantum AI works here as a creative assistant. It restructures, combines and reorganizes the musical sequences provided by Ilā, without ever drawing from external sound banks. “I created a piece as I would normally, and these sequences were used to train the system”explained the artist. The algorithm does not invent from anything, it extends an already existing artistic intention.

Available on Spotify, YouTube and other platformsthe song Recurs is accompanied by a clip using a visual effect called “Quantum blur”. This filter, imagined by Moth, evokes the typical instability and overlays of the quantum universe. The visual rendering echoes the experimental nature of the project. The objective was clear: to create a coherent work, born from a new interaction between the artist and the machine.

On the side of Moth, the tone is solemn. “It is a decisive moment the future of creativity itself. »»says the team. The technology used would, according to them, expand creative tools without sacrificing the originality or the imprint of the author. Unlike AI that generates whole titles by imitating pre -existing styles, this approach values The co-creation between human and machine.

A track for reflection for the music industry

While the debates around AI in the arts remain lively, this project offers another path. The AI can enrich the process here without short-circuiting it. It becomes an experimentation tool, not a substitute for inspiration. Recurs This presents itself as a musical experience but also as a technological manifesto.

With this song, Ilā and Moth show that quantum AI is not used to solve complex equations. In a way, she can write scores.
